Today our excited students from Osaka Kaisei tried some popular Aussie foods for the first time.
They reached for water bottles and sweets to wash down the Vegemite toast, and weren’t great fans of the kangaroo sausage or musk sticks either. However, the Cheezels and Shapes were well enjoyed, and we saw lots of smiles and heard lots of giggles as students got their teeth into Fantales and Red Skins.
After rating all of the food, Tim Tams and Lamingtons came out as unanimous favourites, and the students (and their teacher) were excited to ask where they could buy some of these treats to take home to share with friends, family and classmates in Japan.
