Thanks to the Ekka Show Day, Lexis Noosa students had a break from their usual English lessons on Wednesday! This meant that TAP students had all day activities planned alongside the UAE boys!
The morning was spent at the Eumundi markets which has an amazing selection of entertainment – with not only shops but buskers, a magic show, a didgeridoo performance and most importantly… food! Students had a great time weaving through the market stalls under the trees, and Japanese students Miki, Hikari, Nanase, So, Sena, Shuta and Keisuke even located some delicious Japanese food which they couldn’t pass up for a little taste of home!
Afterwards all 110 students headed to the Noosa Woods for lunch, soaking in the stunning views of the Noosa River, before heading across to the beach for their surf lessons! Everyone had a great afternoon in the sun, whether they were surfing, swimming, body boarding, playing soccer or relaxing on the sand. All in all, a perfect one day “holiday” from school!
