Australia is renowned for its diversity and it’s little wonder some of our “Aussie delicacies” are a hit and miss affair. Lexis Noosa English students were “chomping at the bit” when it came to our Monday “Aussie Food Tasting” session.
While some of the dishes proved to be a big hit – Tim Tams, Milo, Anzac Biscuits and Macadamia Nuts – others like pavlova, Iced VoVos and Vegemite, received less then favourable reactions.
