Yesterday, our massive class of TAP students headed down to Main Beach for another surf session with Merrick’s surf school! The sun was out and the students were eager to hit the water!  Those who had gone surfing with us before were given their boards and, after a quick review on some surf techniques, were given free reign in the water! Newer students headed down the beach with their surf coaches and learned the basics of paddling in, popping up, and cruising the waves! Good stuff!  The students had a great time learning the fine art of looking cool in the water, with one TAP student catching 16 waves! Wow!
