The morning started with a warm welcome from the Principle and a very kind gift of Australian chocolate! ❤ The students then met with their buddies and had a tour of the school.
They spent some time together practicing their conversation skills in English and Japanese in the auditorium before lunch. Some students had Japanese bento boxes for lunch and others chose to have the more Australian option of sausage rolls and tomato sauce. 😀
In the afternoon the students watched an Australian film ‘Paper Planes’ and were presented with certificates.
It was a fantastic day enjoyed by our Japanese Junior students and the students of Ballina Coast High School alike.
