Hiroshima Juniors Walking Tour of Byron Bay! March 18th

Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming eight junior students from Hiroshima, Japan. Once they were all settled in to Lexis, I took them on a little walking tour of Byron, to introduce them to their new surroundings and home for the next two weeks. 😀

We set off from Lexis on Ruskin Street and walked down Jonson Street, towards the sea, stopping on the way for some delicious ice cream!

Everyone enjoyed walking along the water’s edge and taking some photos. The clouds in the sky looked spectacular before the rain came and we could see the light house in the distance!

Time to walk back to town before the rain hits!

Luckily, when the rain came, we were under cover and watched as the brief but impressive thunder storm passed us by.

Before long, the sun was out again!
