Weekend Excursion to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary with Byron Bay’s Hiroshima HS Group

sdrByron’s Hiroshima HS students had a fun day in the sun at the Currumbin Sanctuary on Saturday. Not only were there heaps of native Australian animals to see including crocodiles, pelicans, Tasmanian devils and much more, but they got to feed kangaroos and have their photo taken with a koala.

A highlight for some was buying (and wearing) the stuffed animals

After Currumbin, the students went onto Pacific Fair Shopping Centre for some retail therapy before arriving back in Byron Bay at 5pm. Everyone agreed it was a wonderful day out.
