Yesterday Claire took a group of our students, including our 11 Hiroshima school students, on the iconic Byron Lighthouse walk!
They started at Captain Cook’s lookout so they could do the full loop and pass some of Byron’s beautiful beaches, including The Pass and Wategos.
With so much stunning scenery along the way there were plenty of photo opportunities for everyone!
When they got to the ‘Most Easterly Point of Australia’ they spotted a pod of dolphins who were jumping right out of the waves! It was such an amazing thing to be able to see ❤ (If you look very closely you can see them in the pictures below!)
On their walk back down they took the rainforest route and saw a little wallaby hiding in the bushes, as well as lots of brush turkeys that the students were just as excited by!
It was brilliant afternoon and I’m sure will be a lovely memory of their time in Australia!
