The 2017 TAP season has ended and what a fantastic few months it’s been! I feel so lucky to have been a part of such a wonderful experience. I’ve met so many amazing people from across the world. Not to mention some of the amazing activities and opportunities I’ve been given. Through this role of the Junior Programs Coordinator I was able to explore Noosa and the surrounding areas, as well as have the privilege to work alongside some wonderful people.
Being able to watch students from all over the world form such strong friendships has been beautiful to see and be a part of. A huge mix of students from France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, Cambodia, Japan, Slovenia and Belgium have made lifelong connections and memories together. Watching the students’ English improve has also been very rewarding, and I hope they can continue to work hard and use everything they have learned in Lexis to their advantage.
Thank you to all the teachers and staff in Lexis Noosa who have made me feel at home in the last 3 months. I’ve made some friends for life and some amazing memories with you all. Also I’d like to give a huge shout-out to my amazing boss, mentor and friend – Kiyo.
It will be difficult to leave this job and Lexis Noosa has set the bar for all my other employers to come, but hopefully I can take everything I have learned and apply it to my future endeavours.
Until the next time, Noosa!
