This Tuesday, our lucky TAP students made their way down to Gympie Terrace for an afternoon of river fun. They hopped on three 12-person pontoon boats and were given a tour of the area. They saw huge pelicans, fishermen doing their thing, and fish jumping out of the water. The sun was shining and the day was warm, they couldn’t have asked for a nicer afternoon cruise! Later the boats dropped the students off on a sand island in the middle of the river. The students quickly set about exploring the island, chasing the seagulls, and setting up some fun games of soccer and catch! Sweeeeeeet. 🙂
