Didgeri-Doo-Wop!

Yesterday, our TAP students had the pleasure of learning about aboriginal culture and how to play the didgeridoo.  Scott came from Bush Lab with a bunch of traditional, modern, and practice didgeridoos and amazed us with his storytelling and musical skills.  He shared with us the ways a traditional didgeridoo is made and cared for, and he had a lot of information at hand for any of the TAP students’ questions.  After he was done sharing his skills with us, it was our turn to try.  Each student was given a practice didgeridoo made from PVC pipe and by the end of the class all the students were able to make the basic drone noise! Good work guys!
