This past Friday, our TAP students headed down to beautiful Lyons Park in Noosa Heads to hang out in the sunshine, grill up some sausages, check out the river, and play some sports. The students gathered around the public (free!) BBQ pits and watched as one of our own Japanese TAP students grilled up some Sausages. Ryo Sasabe, only 14 years old, grilled up 52 sausages and 12 onions to feed 26 people! Then he used English to individually serve each one of them: “How many sausages would you like? Would you like some onions? How much?” Good job Ryo!
After eating, the students headed out onto the grass to play some sports. They put up the volleyball net and played for a good two hours! Others went out and made their own soccer pitch and played a few matches! What an awesome Friday afternoon!
