Yesterday afternoon, the students arrived down on Main Beach in Noosa to take part in an Australian tradition on Sundays called Surf Life Saving. Surf Life Saving teaches young children surf awareness, surf safety, rescue and first aid as well as allowing individuals to take part in friendly competition on the beach. Generally, there are three main events- Beach Flags, Beach Sprint, and Beach Wade. The students took part in all the events, giving them a chance to understand about Aussie Beach culture. Well done to Naoki and Sylvie, our overall iron man and iron women for the day 🙂
