Didgeridoo With The TAP

The TAP students had a very cultural experience for today’s activity down at Pinaroo Park this afternoon as Scott from Bush Lab joined us for a class on Aboriginal history and all things didgeridoo.

Students learned the culture and history behind the didgeridoo along with how they are created, the variations of sounds from the changes in sizes of different didgeridoos and the types of  traditional indigenous artworks that come with them.

Students warmed up with some group breathing exercises to widen the lungs and practise their circular breathing before all having a go at playing some fine aboriginal rhythms.

What a fun educational afternoon!
