Noosa Lexis was delighted to welcome 3 students from Thailand.  We spent the morning familiarizing them with the school and the town. After, we headed to the beach for their very first surfing lesson!
It was a beautiful sunny day in Noosa, and the students had a lot of fun.

Here is First learning how to carry a surfboard, with Porkaew and Fern watching.  First and Fern both master it and walk to the beach.

Unfortunately, Porkaew forgot to bring her swimming gear and towel, so she had to watch this lesson with me.  However, she’s excited about tomorrow, and eager to make up for lost time!

After a short lesson on the sand, it was time to get into the water!

I was very surprised to see First and Fern both surfing standing up within the hour.  They both did very well, and they looked very happy at the end.

All the students are very excited about their surfing, and can’t wait for the next lesson!
