Lexis teens visited the world’s largest sand island – Fraser Island!
The TAP’s met at the school for their 6.20am pick up! On the way to Fraser Island they got to travel on the sand on Noosa North Shore all the way to Rainbow Beach! From there they got a quick ferry across the water to Fraser Island where the adventure began. They went for a swim in the pristine fresh water of Lake Mackenzie followed by a gourmet lunch of Porterhouse steak. Then it was time for a walk through Central Station where they were told the history of the island and got to experience the tropical rainforest. They also stopped at the beach to spot Whales and to bathe in some tea tree water which is said to be great for the skin. What a massive day! They would have had a great sleep that night!
