Reaching New Heights On Mount Coolum

Students packed their water, tightened their laces and stretched their legs for a walk up to the top of Mount Coolum.

They started off with a two groups. One who wanted to power walk up and the other who chose to stroll at a leisurely pace. About five minutes into the walk the power walking group decided it wasn’t such a great idea and decided to stroll up as well. Eventually they all made it to the top just in time to see some planes fly pass and land at the nearby airport. Coming back down the hill was fun and they made it down in half the time it took to climb up. With the spare time they went to Peregian Beach to check out the surf and the awesome skaters doing tricks at the bowl.
