Mother nature turned it on for Lexis English Byron Bay students yesterday as we took a walk up inside the famous Cape Byron Lighthouse.
With perfect winter weather, impossibly clear skies and the deepest green sea imaginable, the TAP students, Tomoki, Sakura and Mion, along with Fabian from Switzerland and Michelle enjoyed an afternoon atop Cape Byron Lighthouse. The weather allowed us uninterrupted views to Australia’s most easterly point and beyond … it felt like we could see all the way to New Zealand, the sky was so perfect and clear.
The students spotted a large pod of dolphins, humpback whales and earlier in the day the Ranger from Cape Byron Marine Park spotted a 3.5 metre Bronze Whaler shark off the back beach near Tallows!
