Today, Lexis Byron Bay students headed into town to make some jewellery!

The lovely staff at Bongo Bead Shop run workshops on how to make beaded bracelets, necklaces and other jewellery and they were happy to show us how it’s done. Students selected their own beads from a huge selection and then threaded their jewellery. Japanese TAP student Sakura made a name bracelet for her friend in Japan and a simple but lovely charm necklace for herself. Mamaki, Shotaru and Tomoki made matching sets of super cool bead jewellery to wear here in Byron Bay. A great souvenir of everyone’s time in Australia!
