TAPs V Australian Reptiles

Reptile expert Tim came to visit the Lexis Noosa TAP’s and brought along a few of his cold-blooded friends.

The students had the opportunity to  learn about and hold some of Australia’s great reptiles. They even got to pat a crocodile… crikey! Tim started with the bearded dragon and a few other well know large lizards. But the students had one eye on the lizards and the other on the big bags on the ground that seem to be moving by themselves. Then Tim opened a bag and the first of the Pythons were unleashed. There were shrieks and gasps but after learning more about Pythons, the students seem to appreciate the creatures much more. So much more in fact that they all tried on a few for size as you can see below!
