The wonderful lifesavers at Noosa Main Beach had some serious fun with the students this afternoon and taught them the basics of surf life saving.
At first the students were shown what the beach flags meant and how the beach tower works. Next it was a warm up run up the sand before heading into the water for some swimming and paddle board drills. The students learnt first hand how much strength and agility is involved when saving lives at the beach. After the serious stuff it was time for a swim, free style surfing and frolicking on the beach.
