Instructor Georgie showed our TAP’s a few handy techniques to impress their friends next time they are on the tennis court.
They started with a basic forehand hit using the automatic ball server at slow speed to ease them into their lesson. This was followed by a slightly higher serve speed, a few practices of the backhand and they were finally ready for their first rally. After a few more practices of backhand it was time to learn the hardest technique of all… the serve! This part of the lesson tested Georgie’s technique on patience but they pushed through and were finally ready for a game of tennis. They got up to ten rally hits per serve which was pretty good after one lesson. They are not ready to play Pat Rafter just yet but they can certainly pull a few little tricks on the court after today’s lesson!
