The TAP students were introduced to some of the Australian Reptiles for the Thursday afternoon activity.
At first everyone was a little scared to touch or go near the harmless lizards as Daniel brought them around the room for each student to take a picture or give some reptilian love. He also educated them on why the lizards look the way they do and their names. After the fourth lizard had come around the classroom, the students seemed to be more friendly with the Aussie creatures. Then came the snakes! That was a whole different reaction! There were lots of scared faces and others who put on their brave poker face. But surprisingly all the students either touched or held at least one of the many snakes which was fantastic… just don’t try to touch or hold one in the wild!!!
