Visit To Kondalilla Falls

TAP students ventured into the Sunshine Coast mountains today to visit Kondalilla Falls.

After getting lost through the hills of Mapleton they finally made it to the entrance of Kondalilla Falls. The students were eager to see the rainforest, waterfall and Lea and Baptiste were eager to swim in the rock pool. They started walking down the track to the waterfall. They trekked down.. and down… and down… till the rainforest hid the sunlight and they were truly amongst the nature of the forest. Then all of a sudden… a clearing and there was the beautiful waterfall, rockpools and ferns that looked like a scene from a fairytale. They hung out for a while and soaked up the natural vibes before heading up… and up… and up… back to the entrance. Mikel tried to Tarzan his way back up but that plan failed. We hope Mikel and Fahad will be ok tomorrow after drinking the untreated water and Mimi’s feet recover from the blisters!
