Kindai High School Arrives

On Sunday Global Village welcomed fifty senior students and accompanying teachers from Kindai High School in Osaka/Japan to Australia.

The students were very excited when they arrived in Australia at the Gold Coast International Airport.  This is their last year of high school and they have come to Australia for three weeks to improve their English skills before starting university in April this year back in Japan.

The Kindai students will be studying English at two of our Global Village colleges, one group is studying in Noosa while the other will be studying at our new Sunshine Coast campus in Maroochydore.

For the next three weeks the program consists of General English classes in the morning, followed by an intensive English class after lunch.  However its not all hard work without some play as each afternoon they are able to participate in exciting activities including Beach Volley ball, swimming, soccer, cook off competitions and many other activities as well.

The Kindai High School students below practised sand sculpting yesterday at the Sunshine Coast campus.

Take a look at the pictures of students enjoying the Magic Show yesterday from the magnificent ‘Magician Shaun.’

Global Village welcomes all our new Kindai High School students and we hope you enjoy your stay and experiences here down under.
