Yesterday afternoon our TAP students were smiled upon by the forces of nature, blue skies prevailed and our excited teens hit the river with kayaks for a bit of an adventure.   

The students were energetic as they walked to the shore.  It was a bit difficult at first but they soon got the hang of it.  Miwa, Kio, and Chihiro H, managed to capsize their canoe at one stage it was actually quite funny to see this happen. 

Miwa told me it was because the two boys had decided to swap positions on the boat.  The sun was shining and the water was warm so the students stopped along the river for a swim.

On returning to college the students enjoyed ice cream a well deserved treat after a good 2 hours of adventure kayaking down the Noosa River.
