Meiho High School from Japan, is one of the Study Group Tours that Global Village Noosa has hosted in the last month. On Thursday last week it was time for them to visit Peregian Beach College.
The Japanese students were kindly welcomed and sang a song for the students at Peregian Beach College. After Meiho students sang, the PBC students returned the welcoming with creative individual performances of songs that they had written themselves. Meiho students showed their appreciation by cheering and clapping after each performance.
The next day, students from Meiho took part in Australian high school classes including english, biology, sport, music, maths and science. They also paired up with an Aussie student buddy for some of the time at Peregian to help increase their value of experience and learning in Australia.

Hello! We are back in Tokyo now. I am leading my ordinary life in this sultry city. I rushed into a tempura ( deep fried fish and vegetables in Japanese style ) restaurant as soon as I reached my hometown. I like my place very much, but Noosa is an earthly paradise for me ! That’s not only because that lamb roast was the most delicious I had ever had.
Every student who joined your TAP is always saying here, “Our stay in Noosa was just like a wonderful and perfect dream.” That’s also exactly what I feel !
Nadia, Nathan, Kiyo-san and everyone at GV Noosa, I really appreciate everything you did for us.
Nathan, would you send an e-mail to Yoshi ?
