A windy day on the Noosa River is the perfect conditions for a down wind stand up paddle board.
Above is a picture of Artur from Switzerland and Malo from France enjoying a tandem Stand Up Paddle experience.
Stand up paddle also known as ‘SUP’, is one of the worlds fastest growing and newest water sports to emerge in the surfing world. Today some of the Teen Activity Program students were able to try it out for themselves.
A windy breeze increased the level of difficulty involved to master the Stand Up Paddle, however with the careful instruction from SUP coach Tim and Global Village activity coordinator Nathan, our students were ripping downwind in no time at all.
It was a great afternoon on the water and the students put in enormous effort. Congratulations!
