If you want to know why the college is buzzing lately, its because Japenese Study Groups from Izumisano and Meiho are here!

 

 

On arrival both groups visited the Australia Zoo, home of the famous Crocodile hunter Steve Irwin.

The students encountered amazing creatures from the Australian Wildlife including, koalas, wombats, kangaroos, crocodiles, snakes, a cassowary, native birds, dingoes, emus, echididnas and a tasmanian devil.  Other wild life from South East Asia included the Javanese tigers, elephants and red pandas.

Students enjoyed the Crocodile Show and lots of close encounters with animals.

After a lovely time at Australia Zoo, it was time for students to meet their host families in Noosa at the Global Village English College.
