Australians take their sport very seriously and it would seem that students from Josei Gakuen also take their sport just as serious, especially on sports day.

Josei Gakuen students joined forces today with PBC students at their annual sports carnival. Tug of war, high jump, shotput and javelin were only a few of the events that the girls took part in. A brand new discipline for our Japanese guests was definitely the “Welly”, the throwing of a rubber boot, not as easy as it sounds, be assured. Anyway, it was a great day that ended with cheerful dancing to earn some extra house points.
