Our study group tour, Hatsushiba Hashimoto High School in Byron bay have recently demonstrated Traditional Japanese Dance and Calligraphy to the other students and staff.
All of the students had a most wonderful time watching the Japanese dance called SORANBUSHI performed in traditional costume. In particular, TAP students Damian and Max from Italy were happy to share and experience Japanese culture with Clair and Edouard. Hatsushiba Hashimoto High School students passed their costume on to the other International students and taught them how to perform the Soranbushi Japanese dance. There were many funny moments.

After the performance, the Japanese students presented a creative workshop on how to write calligraphy in Kanji and Katakana. Edouard and Clair tried to write their name with the ink brush.
That looks absolutely fantastic! Well done Clair and Edouard!
Thank you to Hatsushiba Hashimoto High School students for sharing your beautiful culture with Global Village Byron Bay Campus!
