Waterfall Adventures are the Best!

It is always a nice experience when visiting natures own waterfalls, anywhere in the world.  Not too far from the Sunshine Coast, a hidden treasure lies where the Aborigines hold a festival year after year.

After playing a hide and seek trick on TAP Co-ordinator Nadia, Global Village TAP students walked down the winding paths of sub-tropical rainforest and mossy rock edgings, stopping for that snap happy pic inside an old gum tree trunk and of picture perfect lookouts.  The tranquil sound of rushing water and a hippy playing flute led us to the very bottom of Kondalilla Falls.  They met a lovely girl from New Zealand, Hannah, who could pick up on the Spanish Calixto and Christina were speaking because she had been studying Spanish for five years.

Did you know the word Kondalilla in Aboriginal language means, rushing water?
