The weather couldn’t have been better.  With a friend and paddle in one hand, Global Village TAP students journeyed the glassy still waters of the Noosa River to get a closer look at Noosa’s finest designer homes and magnificent wildlife. 

Spanish students Calixto and Cristina struggled to keep afloat while others like Vanessa from Taiwan couldn’t help imagining how wonderful life must be for the people living in million dollar mansions with boats tied up to their private jettys along the winding canals.  We came across a large group of nestling pelicans when we stopped for a break at a sand bar in the middle of the river, before our long stretch of kayaking back to the Sheraton.
