Kanagawa students got to experience the pristine Noosa Everglades yesterday. It was an important part of their environmental studies, and the river was spectacular after being flushed out by recent heavy rain.
After learning all morning in the classroom about Australian wildlife it was a welcome change to go animal spotting on the Noosa River and in the Everglades. Students and teachers enjoyed throwing waves, getting stuck with the boat, spotting birds, having a picnic at Harry’s Hut and discovering the first kangaroos of their trip along the riverside.
