This time it was Chiyoda students who got to experience a kayak adventure on Noosa River. It was a little slow going at first, but we all got the hang of it soon enough.
Most of the students kayaked across the river without a problem, but 3 of the boys had a lot of trouble! First, Shingo and his partner zig zagged across the river. I was tired just thinking how long they had paddled and what a short distance they went. Shingo and his partner found it difficult to get the timing right and paddle together… too funny!!!
Then Kosuke had a really hard time. He had some trouble holding the paddles correctly, so he really wasn’t going anywhere, except into the one dock that stuck out into the river! He ran right into that… Ooops!!! I wasn’t sure we were going to, but we finally made it to the others. I was ready to take Kosuke back across to where we started, but he persisted. Well done to the 3 “lost boys” who kept on trying and succeeded… It wasn’t pretty, but you made it!!!
