Students have tests on the first day and are placed in an appropriate level classes. There are 6 levels beginner, elementally, pre-intermediate, intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced level.
We will introduce some comments from teachers on students’ progress and students’ comments!
Robin from Switzerland
A super student who always participates fully. He is much stronger orally now and makes interesting and valued contributions in class. He loves Australia and wants to come back one day. He particularly enjoyed his weekend on Fraser Island and has visited Australia Zoo.
“I saw a lot of animals and beautiful places like the rainforest (at Fraser Island). We had a lot of fun. Australia is a beautiful country and I will miss it a lot but I will come back. I will never forget this beautiful holiday”.
Hassan from Saudi Arabia
Hassan is a very pro-active student who works hard and is really interested in his work. He has made much progress both orally and in writing. He particularly likes going to the cinema to improve his English through film. He will be moving up to Intermediate level next week. Hassan has enjoyed the soccer and shopping activities and won the volleyball competition.
“It is my first time surfing and I have had fun. The weather has been wonderful. The volleyball activity was very good and my team won and it was the best.”
Nicolas from France
Nicolas is a very capable student. His speaking is especially strong and his ability to absorb vocabulary and grammatical rules good. He will be moving up to Intermediate level next week. He is mixing well socially and enjoying this.
“I love rugby and enjoyed the trip to Brisbane to watch the Broncos. It was very good”.
Isaure from France
Isaure is growing in confidence now. She speaks more both inside and out of class and is having fun. She is mixing well with the others. She is responsive to advice and is trying hard to develop her writing skills. She particularly enjoyed the mountain biking activity.
“On Thursday we went mountain bike riding. It was very funny.”
