Although the weather turned out cloudy, the water was warm and the waves perfect for beginners to learn to surf!

As Tap students began to paddle out, they were extremely excited to experience what surfing was really like. In the beginning, some students found it a little difficult to balance on the board. TAP student Dorian said, “Surfing is difficult because you have to balance in different positions on the board, whilst trying to ride a wave”. Robin also said, “Surfing is very funny, I learnt so much at the surfing school. I am very excited about my next 3 weeks of surfing”.

In the end, everyone managed to stand long enough to ride a wave!!! They all cannot wait for next Wednesday’s surfing class!!!!!!!
